A royal crochet doll set in soft yarn

The dress is the whole doll here. A royal skirt has to flare and hold — worked with the increases spaced so it stands away from the body instead of hanging flat — and the trim is added in a finer yarn so it reads as lace rather than as another round of the same stitch.

A first collectible
