The Owl House crochet doll

The Owl House crochet doll is the studio's most layered single doll: a costume built in stages rather than one dress, with embroidered detail over the top of it.

Layering is what makes it hard. Each piece has to sit on the one beneath without adding so much bulk that the doll goes stiff, so the outer layers are worked in a finer yarn than the body. That is also why the detail stays sharp instead of disappearing into the texture.

Go one size up

At the smallest size the layers compress into each other. If the costume is the reason you want this doll, order a larger one.
