Who is in the set
Eleven in the Toy Story 5 crochet doll set: Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Bonnie, Evil Bullseye, Atlas, Blaze, Lily Pad, Smarty-Pants and Snappy.
Woody and Buzz
The two everyone starts with are the two hardest to get right. Woody''s hat has to sit at an angle without sliding, so the brim is worked flat and shaped rather than stuffed; Buzz''s wings are separate pieces set into the back so they stand away instead of lying flat. Both carry more colour blocking than anything else in the set.
The horses
Four legs all have to reach the ground. They are crocheted to the same round count and stuffed to the same firmness, which is fussier than it sounds and is why a horse costs more studio time than a person does. The second version is the same body in a darker palette.
Which size
10 inches for the group. Woody and Buzz both gain at 12 and 14, where the costume detail separates properly.
Where they come from
