Who is in the set
Six in the Rapunzel''s Tangled Adventure crochet doll set: Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Varian, Maximus and Pascal.
The hair
Rapunzel is the slowest doll the studio makes, and all of it is the hair. It is worked in lengths and joined in sections rather than attached as a single piece, because a single piece that long pulls the head out of shape. At 14 inches the hair alone outweighs the doll.
A horse and a chameleon
Maximus has the four-legs problem — every leg crocheted to the same round count and stuffed to the same firmness, or the horse does not stand. Pascal is the opposite: small enough that the whole doll is finer work than one of Rapunzel''s braids.
Which size
10 inches for the group. Pascal can go one size down without losing anything, and often does.
Where they come from
What happens after the tower. A princess returns to a kingdom she has never lived in, with her hair grown back and a great deal unresolved, and gathers an odd group around her.
A horse, a chameleon, a lady-in-waiting and an alchemist is about as mixed as a six-doll set gets, and it is why this one takes longer per character than its size suggests.
