Who is in the set

Costume in layers
This is the studio's most layered work. Outfits are built in stages over an embroidered face rather than being crocheted as a single coloured body, so a jacket sits over a top which sits over the doll. It is why this set takes longer than its character count suggests, and why it photographs the way it does.
Layers need size
Layers compress. At 6 inches the outfits are there but flattened against the body; from 10 inches each layer reads separately, and at 14 the trim and the seams carry too. If the costumes are the reason you want this set, do not order the smallest size.
Bought for a shelf
These are display dolls more than play dolls — they are made to stand, not to be carried around, and most orders are for a collection rather than for a child.
Where they come from
The children of famous villains and famous heroes are sent to the same school and left to decide for themselves which they are going to be. Nobody arrives without a reputation already attached to their name.
That is why the costumes carry so much here. Each outfit is an inherited identity worn on the outside, which is also why the studio builds them in layers rather than crocheting a single coloured body.
